Portage Field Notes is a Minneapolis remote-operations practice founded in 2021. We study how qualified people actually reach and work with remote systems, then leave behind useful operating notes.

Why “field notes”?

Settings lists age quickly. A field note records intent, context, observed behavior, dependencies, and the next review point. That makes it useful to operators, managers, and reviewers without claiming the document replaces technical controls.

Independent, product-literate, and evidence-minded. We do not sell MobaXterm licenses or represent Mobatek.
